How I lost 28 pounds
As I was walking around my kitchen this morning getting the kids things together for lunch and all I looked down at the floor and realized I still have not put the scale back to its place.
So I began to walk over and thought I wonder what I weigh. Surely by now I have gained back some of the weight I lost.
We moved to our new place on July 28th and that morning I had wieghed myself in at 205 pounds. That is the heaviest I have weighed and I am not proud by any means. We live about 1/4 from the bus stop so walking to and from every morning really helped me get into a routine of walking a little each week.
On Sept. 10th I began the Readers Digest Diet and took the 21 day Challenge. On the First day of the diet I weighed in at 190. Unfortunately I did not follow the diet to a T but I learned alot and I lost 11 pounds. I ended weighing 179.
So when I walked on to the scale I was scared to see if the number went up. I was so amazed and excited that not only did the scale not go up, but the scale actually went down.
I weighed in at 177. I lost another 2 pounds since Sept. 29th. I know its not much but its plenty for me!Im really excited.
I have gone back to drinking soda once in awhile but I definitely drink 3-4 bottles of water a day and that is big for me. I dont over eat and I watch my portions. I do have sweets, chips and pizza but I can control how much I eat.
