We need to build the foundation of who Jesus is as Teacher but revealing He is so much more. Kids will learn how valuable and important they are to God. According to the Lifeway website emphasis on Salvation starts on Day 1.

Game On Day 2 Lesson: Jesus Gives Me Hope

Bible Story: The Resurrection of Lazarus (John 11:1-44)

Jesus is amazing and He can do amazing things because He is God’s Son (raise the dead). and what He will do for us (die, then live again). This lesson will emphasize the hope we have that one day we will be resurrected to live forever with Him. There is a strong evangelistic emphasis on this day.

Game On Day 3 Lesson: Jesus Helps Me Believe

Bible Story: Thomas Believed (John 20:19-31)

This is a continuance of Day 2 Bible Story of resurrection. Day 3 we look at Thomas instantly believing Jesus is the risen Christ. This is an eye witness/first person testimony. This is another strong salvation emphasis.

Game On Day 4 Lesson: Jesus Loves Me

Bible Story: John Wrote About Jesus (John 13:1-35, 19:25-27; 20:1-10; 21:1-14)

John refers to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” John experienced the love in a strong and personal ways, John was sensitive to those words and actions of Jesus how the One who is love loved others. We review four key events. ┬áJohn was loved by Jesus, Jesus’ acts of love (great and small), and wrote about God’s great love for us in his books. Day 4 is setup for the perfect opportunity to issue a call to the gospel.

  • Seeing the empty tomb
  • Recognizing Jesus on the seashore

Game On Day 5 Lesson: Jesus Gives Me Joy

Bible Story: Paul and Silas in Prison (Acts 16:23-34)

We show how joy is different than happiness. Joy comes from God and separate from ourselves. Paul and Silas could experience true joy in the midst of a dark jail cell because they were tapped into the Source of all joy. Kids will learn that regardless of their circumstances, they can praise God/Jesus and experience joy!
