Disney Tangled Draw Bridge Rebecca Autry Creations

September 11, 2018 by rautry

You can make a huge draw bridge coming from the bathroom or even the outside door.

Simple and very easy to make.

Don’t forget to check out 11+ Disney Tangled Birthday Decoration Ideas.

What you Need:

– Silver or Bronze paper

– Glue or double sided tape

– Silver Tablecloth

How to Make:

1. Take silver or bronze color paper and cut into 1 inch strips. You can cut them as long as you want or as small as you want. I cut my strips 1 inch by 5 ¼ inches

2. Connect your strips into rings using a glue stick or double sided tape much like the rings you make for the Christmas countdown calendar do the same.

3. Once your chains are completed you will tape one end of the chain to the door and the other side to the silver paper or tablecloth you use for the bridge part.

4. Cut out a draw bridge shape either rectangle or curved. Lay this part on the floor and secure. Since I have no intentions of it lasting longer than the birthday party, I made mine out of plastic tablecloth from Dollar Tree.

That is it! You are done!

Spiderman Ceiling Web Tutorial Rebecca Autry Creations

Spiderman Ceiling Web Tutorial

Have you seen the new Spider-man Movie that recently came out? I have not but I wanted to share with you some of the decorations I made for my first son’s first birthday. Since the hubby was a huge fan of Spider-man, I thought this theme to be rather fitting.

Make sure to check out other Spider-man Birthday Party Decorations by clicking on the image below.

What you Need:

– Black Yarn

– Tape

– Yellow, Blue, Red and Black Balloons

– Yellow, Blue, Red and Black Streamers

How to Make:

1. First take your black yard and cut in lengths as desired to start the center and getting larger for each row. Placing them on the floor will help you a bit better to visualize where to tie the web going outward.

2. Once you have all your circles cut each being larger than the other you are read to cut the web strips.

3. Now that you have all your strips cut you need to start tying them together to form the web.

4. Once your web is tied you can then take it and tape it to the ceiling. You may need two or more people to help you tape it to the ceiling.

That is it! You are done!

Frozen Inspired Drink Rebecca Autry Creations

September 11, 2018 by rautry

Frozen Inspired Drink

Everyone loves Disney Frozen and I bet your precious one would love these theme inspired Frozen drinks. Has “Let it Go” or “Do you want to build a snowman” works it way into everyday conversation in your home? Between my little princess and my boys we have the memorable lines of Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Christof swirling around like a raging storm inside our homes daily! These simple drinks make great Frozen Birthday Ideas.

What you need:

– Blue Hawaiian Punch

– White/Clear Crystal cupcake toppings

How to Make:

1. First stake your cool glasses. I found mine at a Goodwill Retail Outlet that I paid about $.20 for 10 Nabisco 100 Calorie plastic cocktail cups. You can use any clear cups. Because these are for the kiddos the smaller ones work best. For adults you may want to use the larger cups. The cool looking cocktail glasses just make the party more dimensional and fun.

2. Wet the rim of the glass with the Hawaiian punch and shake cupcake toppings all around the rim so it sticks.

3. Pour your Blue Hawaiian Punch in the cups. Make sure to place a sign with it so parents are aware of the contents. You may also want to water down the Hawaiian punch since it is high in sugar. I know your guests will enjoy these awesome cool looking Frozen Inspired Drinks.

That is it! You are done.

Dollar Tree Decoration Ideas for Galactic Starveyors

September 11, 2018 by rautry

Dollar Tree Decoration Ideas for Galactic Starveyors is one of the best frugal ideas you can follow when looking to decorate for VBS.

First let your imagination run wild! There are so many things you can use from Dollar Tree to make great decorations for Lifeway’s Galactic Starveyors VBS 2017.

Here are some items you can purchase from Dollar Tree.

The star table decorations are seasonal but are available through 4th of July weekend.

Globe Balls found in the toy section. Great to use for a VBS store as well as a desk decoration in the Galactic Starveyors Clubhouse.

You can also purchase on Amazon for about the same price each.

Be sure to check out other Galactic Starveyor Decoration Ideas

Clear Globe Inflatable ball. These were found both in the school supply area as well as the summer fun area of Dollar Tree.

Easy Clubhouse posters. These United States Map are a quick and inexpensive to make your Bible Study room into a clubhouse. These are found in the school supply section.

Look for these Star plates in the Party Section. Mine were also with the Memorial/4th of July decorations. You can easily use them for walls as Stars or even hanging down in your Worship Rally Area.

These foil Star Cutouts were found in various colors in the party decoration areas.

Keep track of your VBS attendance with this awesome Space Attendance Record. Use a dry erase marker or permanent.

LED Tea Light candles come in a 2 pack. You can also find the Star Tea Lights as well that can be used to give dimension to your stars on the walls or even a backdrop.

Glitter Glue and decorative tape will be great to decorate bookmarks and Galactic Moon Gazers.

These are seasonal but I happened to pick up a few and they work great to make your own Galactic Planets.

Galactic Planets from bouncy balls. Look for different size bouncy balls in the Toy section. Tape on some fishing wire and hanging them from the ceiling to make planets.

Arendelle Banner Tutorial (Disney Frozen)

I have become consumed with Disney Frozen and have created party ideas to include in a Frozen Theme party including these Arendelle Flags that you see at the beginning of the movie when Anna sings and dances when the gates of the Castle are opened for Elsa’s Coronation. These are simple including Elsa’s Silhouette.

%filemane%

What you Need:

– Purple, Green, and yellow cardstock

– Double sided tape or Glue

How to Make:

1. First you will need to get your shapes. You can find the shapes for the Arendelle Flag Crests in the Store.

2. Take your purple and glue or tape to your green base.

3. Next you will glue or tape your yellow silhouette to the middle of the Arendelle banner. Some speculate the silhouette is the girls mother while others say it is Elsa. Either way these are a great addition as a table decoration or even banners to hang for a Disney Frozen Party.

That is it! You are done!
