You will receive the Hello Kitty Shapes in SVG, PDF, and PNG files. Make sure when you open in your cutting software to put each layer as their own to make it easier to cut each piece.
The SVG file is comprised as 5 layers
– The black base
– Pink Nose
– White Face
– Pink Bow
– Black Bow outline
These are so simple and very cheap to make. This is the type of craft you say to yourself, “why didn’t I think of that?” So here is what you do, go to Dollar Tree and look in the party ware section of the store. You will find all sorts of solid color paper products.
If you want the Iron Skillet Plate to act as your serving dishes go with the larger plates, but if you plan on setting the cake and ice cream on them then I would suggest the small plates. They only cost a $1 and you can make at least 12 with the large plates and 15 of the smaller plates.

– Black Paper Plate
– Pencil
– Scissors
– Glue or Double Sided Tape
1. You can purchase small cake plates or the large serving plates in black from Dollar Tree. Either size will work and will depend on what you plan on using them for.
2. Take a plate and draw the handles, you can 3 on one plate. Cut them out.
3. Glue the end of the handle onto the bottom of the black plates to make the Skillet Shape.
That is it! You are done!
I tell you these are so simple and cheap to make. These are my kind a Frugal crafts!
There are a few options.
1. Print your own. You can make pretty designs on your own and print them right from your computer. You can get photo paper from Dollar Tree but I wouldn’t say this is the most cost effective way because ink is expensive.
2. Order 4×6 Prints from various places. For my niece we had many coupons codes from Walgreens, Shutterfly, York Photo and others but we decided on Walgreens because they had a sale for 75+ prints for $.10 each so we purchased 100 for $10 not including taxes plus we had them for store pickup and ready within a couple of hours! Above is the image we did personally created. I did not take the photo of her this is credited to Sonya. We figured this was the best for the quickness plus she wasn’t going to mail very many but instead hand deliver!
3. Prints from Office Supply Stores. The other option we thought about that would not include her photo was taking wedding invites from Walmart that looked great for her theme and taking them with the text file to Staples or Office Max and having them print $.5 per print min. 100 so we could have paid $5 plus tax
Let me know what you think? Did we make a good choice? We wanted something special but not expensive. Did you know the smallest package from a Top Graduation Brand that only included 1 color ink with 35 announcements was $100! We did our own and we can hand out many! my niece was in charge of making a list and before she got to her graduating classmates and other friends she had 65 already! So for the money we are spending we did a wonderful job!

Canyon formations similar and reminds me of the Grand Canyon! Since I am not helping out with snacks the ideas below are partially mine but mostly those pictured in a fellowship hall are the great artistic talent from our church the Williams. Our VBS week is not till the end of June so most pictures will not be loaded until then.
Survival Springs Rock Formations

First measure from top to bottom (ceiling to floor) so you know how tall you need to make it. I free hand drew mine. Its like a cave but I am only doing a portion of it because of time constraints.

Survival Springs Flooring
– Blue Tarps
Ask for donations of large blue tarps or you can by them for $8 at Dollar General. Lay them on the floor and secure with tape so they will not move around. Cover the entire visible floor or at least the majority.
Survival Springs Lilly pad tables
Take green tablecloths (round plastic) and drape them onto your tables and secure with tape so they last all week. Make sure to cut a triangle slit to make the Lily pad. Add a White frilly flower for the centerpiece and maybe a bee or butterfly!
Survival Springs K Cup Flowers hanging
Use the k cups that I created for the Shady Grove area but keep the white and add a blue frilly trim of paper, tissue paper or even pom poms, hang them from the ceiling as pictured above. They will not look the same but similar. Still fun and easy to make. Simply string green curling ribbon thru the hole and tie the end to a paper clip to easily tape to the ceiling or hook on the tiled ceiling.
I was at a church cleaning out their Children’s Supply Closet and found all kinds of different things including a trash bag full of pine cones. They were going to throw them out so I jumped in and said I could use them for my church. I had no idea at the time what I would use them for so I carried them around in my trunk for 2 weeks and then it occurred to me. I can make Pine Cone Flowers out of them.
What you need: – Pine Cones – Spray Paint (any color) – Construction Paper – Big Straws or Kabob Sticks – Green Streamer Roll – Tape (packaging)
– Tacky Glue

What you Need:
– Black, Brown, and White Cardstock
– Gold plated brads
– Gold Cardstock
– Glue or Scrapbooking double-sided tape
How to Make:
1. First you need to cut out all your pieces. You can use this Treasure Chest Invitation PDF Printable available in the Moms Saving Money Store for $.50. Please familiarize yourself with the License and Copyright guidelines.
If you have a cutting machine such as the Silhuette Cameo and would like the SVG file to cut from you can purchase the Treasure Chest Invitation SVG File in the Moms Saving Money Store for $.50.
2. Cut out your desired amount of each and always add 1 extra for testing and mishaps. Be sure to measure you envelopes you plan to use and reduce the size of the card by 1/2 inch to make sure you have enough leeway.
3. The Brown is your base. The White is your invitation information for guests. If you have a Silhouette I would suggest using the print and cut and add your text and print before cutting the the shape. The black is next and is placed on the front of the brown. Add the gold on top of the black in the middle.
4. Before adding the remainder gold latch take your gold plated brad and push thru the latch. Make sure when you fold the brad wings that you place them in such a way they don’t show. You may have to go thru the black and brown cardstock so it does not show. In this case wait to put your white backing on last.

Princess and the Frog party Ideas
Below you will find what supplies you will need, as well as step by step instructions on how to make a Frog Prince Cake.
What you Need:
– 2 boxes of cake mix (ingredients as requested on the box)
– Oval cake pan
– Rectangle Cake pan
– Frosting
– Green and Black food coloring
– Yellow Cardstock/Red Marker for Crown, Blue glitter
How to Make:
1. First mix up the cake mix as directed on the boxes. You will pour one into the round pan.
2. Pour the other box into rectangle cake pan and bake as directed.
3. Let both cakes cool down and freeze in the freezer for an hour to work with easier.
4. Mix Green food coloring into Frosting, Make sure to leave a little for the white and black needed for the eyes.
5. Place the round cake on your platter.
6. Cover the round cake with frosting.
7. Cut the legs of the frog out of the rectangle cake sheet and place on each side of the round cake. Also cut out 2 small circles of cake for the eyes and place on top of the round head and cover with frosting.
8. Frost the legs.
9. Add white frosting circles to the top for eyes. Add black frosting circles to the middle of the eyes to complete them.
10. Make your crown from yellow cardstock and tape. Decorate as desired with red marker and blue glitter.

What you Need:
– Tissue Paper (Dollar Tree Carries 20 sheets for $1)
– Tape
– Glue Stick
– Fishing Wire
How to Make:
1. Take 1 sheet of your desired color.
2. Take a 2nd sheet and fold in half. Cut on the folded line.
3. Take the glue stick and glue a one half sheet onto the middle of your first sheet.
4. Take the other half sheet and glue on the other side lining it up in the center as the other one.
5. You will now fold in 1 inch folds like a fan, folding every other way until you reach the end.
6. Fold in half. Tape the middle pieces together.
7. When you fan it out you will tape the edge non fold to a fold. Do this for both sides.
8. tape the top 3 fold together in the center on both sides.
9. You will take the fishing wire and snake it thru the taped areas in 3 places. When hanged it will fan out on its own and keep from bunching up.
Each Fan is about 2 1/2 ft in length. These are pretty easy to make. You can use tape on the ends to attach to the walls or use a thumb tack to hold the fishing wire.
Great to mix and match different colors to fit any fiesta theme.
