How to Save on Bridesmaids Dresses

Are you planning a Wedding soon? Are you going to be a Bridesmaid any time soon or even have a daughter that will be a flower girl?

Dresses can be expensive but you can get some really good deals if you just look around.

Here are some ways to Save on Bridesmaids Dresses.

1. Look at Department stores. Often times you can find some really good prices on dresses on the off season but make sure all bridesmaids buy them at the same time and typically one size larger because you can take always have it altered.

2. Former Brides. Most bridesmaids will not wear their dresses again so if you know of a bride getting married before you have her ask her bridesmaids if they would considering selling or donating to your wedding party.

3. Consignment shops. What happens to a bridesmaid dress after a wedding. Sometimes ladies will decide to donate their dresses so you can find some great deals.

4. Online sales. Sure you can find some awesome deals at the traditional wedding sites but you can find some more specific colors and styles at DressFirst.com. They have the traditional colors and many more odd colors as well. Its great because there are so many options. Online Shopping helps you visualize easier and quicker with your bridesmaids. At DressFirst.com you can also find mother of the Brides dress and flower girl dresses.

Even if you are not looking for a bridesmaid dresses you can also find Evening Gowns, Prom Dresses and Wedding Bouquets, and much more.

The best of all you can get some awesome deals in the their clearance section. Always look at the clearance section because those will be the best deals you can get. Not all women fit into the small sizes so I was appreciative to see they also carry plus sizes. Most stores charge extra for larger sizes but there is not much of a difference in price. If you are expecting you can also find maternity dresses as well, very cute and practical.

Planning a Budget Savvy Wedding?

December 29, 2019 by rautry

Are you planning a Budget Savvy Wedding?

In the case you are or know someone who is be sure to check out the Budget Savvy Wedding Series.

I learned about Tableclothsfactory.com  and they have some great sales and clearance items fit for any wedding and budget savvy conscious bride.

Did you know the going rate on the lesser end for a reception is $30 a plate? Yikes. I bet between Dollar Tree and sites like these you can get your own dishes and style rather cheap for around $500 for 100 that would be $5 a person and then when you add in the food on sale with coupons you can do it for about $10 a person.

So think outside the box and enlist some help for a budget savvy wedding.

How to Save on Wedding Favors

September 14, 2019 by rautry

The easiest way to cut out part of the budget of a wedding is by not having any wedding favors! However it is nice to give those you appreciate coming to your special day a way to remember it by.

There are so many ideas of wedding favor you can make but I would suggest only doing a couple and preferably favors that are simple to make or purchase because chances are your quest will not take them, or they end up trashing them with in the year.

Some of the most thoughtful wedding favors can be handmade. You can put together a CD of pictures, a booklet of family recipes, a CD of songs, be creative. There are many things you can do.

Check out your nearest Dollar Tree there is always fun ideas you can do as well as there are plenty of wedding pre-made favors to choose from.

Start early because yard sales are a great place to find cheap and inexpensive wedding favors.

Google search for ideas on what you can do. Always set a budget for how much you want to spend over all and how much you want to spend per person.

FREE Wedding Rehearsal Checklist Printable

Your Ultimate Guide to a Stress-Free Wedding Rehearsal: Free Checklist Printable Included!

Planning a wedding is an exciting journey, but it can also be overwhelming with the myriad of details to organize. One crucial aspect that often gets overlooked in the midst of wedding preparations is the wedding rehearsal. A well-executed rehearsal ensures that everything runs smoothly on the big day. To make your wedding rehearsal stress-free and organized, we’ve created the perfect solution for you – a free wedding rehearsal checklist printable! In this comprehensive guide, we’ll walk you through the importance of a rehearsal, the key components of a successful one, and how our checklist can be your go-to resource.

Why a Wedding Rehearsal Matters:

A wedding rehearsal serves as a run-through of the ceremony, allowing everyone involved to familiarize themselves with their roles and responsibilities. It’s a chance to iron out any kinks, ensuring that the actual wedding day unfolds seamlessly. Here’s why a rehearsal is a must:

  1. Smooth Transitions: Practice makes perfect. A rehearsal gives the bridal party, officiant, and vendors the opportunity to practice their entrances, exits, and movements during the ceremony.
  2. Coordination: Ensure that everyone is on the same page by coordinating the timing of each element, from processional to recessional. This ensures a harmonious and well-timed ceremony.
  3. Logistics and Setup: Familiarize everyone with the ceremony space, allowing for adjustments and fine-tuning of the setup. This includes positioning of chairs, altar decorations, and any other logistical considerations.
  4. Vendor Coordination: If you have hired vendors like photographers, videographers, or musicians, the rehearsal is the perfect time to communicate with them and ensure they are aware of the schedule and any specific requirements.
  5. Comfort and Confidence: A rehearsal helps calm nerves and boosts the confidence of everyone involved. Knowing what to expect on the big day contributes to a more relaxed and enjoyable ceremony.

Components of a Successful Wedding Rehearsal:

Now that you understand the importance of a wedding rehearsal, let’s delve into the key components that make it successful:

  1. Gathering Everyone: Start by gathering the entire bridal party, including bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, ring bearers, and anyone else playing a role in the ceremony.
  2. Introduction and Overview: The officiant should introduce themselves and provide an overview of the ceremony. This is also a good time for the couple to express their gratitude and set a positive tone.
  3. Processional and Recessional Practice: Walk through the processional and recessional, ensuring that everyone knows their cue, pace, and positioning.
  4. Vows and Rings: If you’re exchanging personalized vows or have special ring-related elements, practice them during the rehearsal to ensure a heartfelt and flawless delivery.
  5. Logistics Walkthrough: Take a walkthrough of the ceremony space, noting any specific logistics such as seating arrangements, altar setup, and microphones.
  6. Communication with Vendors: Coordinate with vendors present at the rehearsal, confirming their roles and ensuring they are familiar with the venue.
  7. Contingency Planning: Discuss contingency plans for unexpected situations, such as inclement weather for outdoor ceremonies.

Wedding Party Favors Rebecca Autry Creations

September 14, 2019 by rautry

If you are planning a wedding I suggest you take a look at Dollar Tree for the goodies you can find.

But here is something I found, walmart will discount wedding items in February and July.

I just found 2 different packs of wedding favor boxes at Wal-mart on clearance for $3.50 each originally $24.99 for 50ct.

I was also able to pick up wedding invites for $1.50 originally $19.99 for 50 ct (they are pretty basic and I will use them for my nieces Graduation party invites).

See how else you can save on Wedding Favors.

How to save on Wedding Programs

September 14, 2019 by rautry

Yes this is still one small cost of the whole wedding but
you can still save a few bucks by being creative. Programs can be very simple.

If you don’t have to worry about cost then go ahead and order from a wedding program site but do make sure you have everything spelled

correctly or it can get costly for reprints.

Only order enough that you know you will need. Order the amount of guests confirmed plus ten. Not everyone who confirms attendance will show up but you will have a few who come who didn’t RSVP and you want to make sure you have some for your scrapbook or wedding album. You will also want some for those guests who are unable to make it that are dear to you like

grandparents, etc.

One way to have nice programs but not costing too much consider getting programs from Michael’s or AC Moore’s and printing them yourself or taking them over to Walgreens or Wal-mart and having them printed.

Be sure to shop around for the best print per copy price.

Be sure to start early and plan, plan, plan so you won’t
stress out later.

Hope this helps giving you some suggestions on how to save
some money.
